For smaller gatherings, order one restroom for every 75 - 100 people. Most private parties still order two units so that men and women have their own units.
When using the chart for larger gatherings, keep in mind that food and drinks served will increase the number of units necessary.
To offer a safe germ-free environment, we recommend that one - two station hand washing sink be utilized for every two restrooms on site. Most local ordinances require one sink for every two food booths at an event.
It is also mandatory for all public gatherings to comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA). This states that at least 5%, but no less than one unit, must be wheelchair accessible. In other words, one out of every twenty units must be handicap accessible.
